WYBS mission statement:

To teach Wausau area youth the fundamental skills of baseball and softball, to be part of a team, instilling team values and character that will serve youth in the future.

WYBS Who we are

We are a volunteer-driven organization committed to building an appreciation for the games of baseball and softball through quality coaching and supportive parental involvement. It is our fundamental belief that every child with a desire to play baseball or softball be afforded the opportunity to participate, where the emphasis is not always on winning, but on good sportsmanship, fair play, discipline, safety, teamwork, and most of all…..fun.

About our club

Wausau Youth Baseball was formed under the Little League International organization in 1953. Since then, the organization has expanded into what it is now titled Wausau Youth Baseball & Softball, Inc. Softball combined with baseball in the mid 1990’s under the Babe Ruth organization. It has been successful in both baseball and softball since. This could not have happened without our continued success with active volunteers such as board members, team managers and coaches, team parents, and our extensive list of sponsors in Wausau. Thank you for being a part of something great!
